Christina Martens is a currently Sydney based fashion designer. Her work whilst strongly reflecting her heritage also delves with new experiences and knowledge gained with time spent abroad.
The main focus she incorporates within her work is the use of natural and organic materials, creating own prints and developing her own style of artisan craft.

Whilst exploring and opening my mind to new experiences during my studies in London, I decided
to compose a collection that broke down previous barriers I once held. Originally I intended to focus
my work on menswear only, then I began to incorporate ideas that are considered as strictly feminine
to create a new androgynous style I hadn‘t previously dealt with. This eventually led me to present a
range of clothing that was interchangeable between female and male.
