Charan Bhogal, influenced by her alter ego Dr Bhogal proclaims she is diagnosed to Create. As a multifaceted creative she has incubated a prescription of versatile experience from fashion to film including Moschino, Boudicca, Anderson & Sheppard and Ridley Scott's Prometheus. Driven by science, mathematics and curiosity, she uses Fashion as a visual language to translate her generated ideas. The doctor has instituted an identifiable table of elements containing a concentrated dose of Fabric creation, elaborate colour application and 3D innovation in conceptual Menswear.

Charan Bhogal's graduate collection explores the origin of genetic engineering, DNA, calculating theories of evolution and Playing GOD. Translating Darwin’s observation of the ‘beetle’, Philip Starck’s concept of Mutation, Hawking’s M Theory and Einstein’s equation of quantum physics, to ultimately create a new species.

Each outfit embodies a structural metamorphosis amplified in the textile techniques and silhouette. This is encoded within the mathematical construction and conceptual fabrication. Her textile direction has been influenced by the concept of growth including DNA hexagonal molecular forms, which were lazer cut and appliquéd as a mutated skin, as well as a translated idea of wearing concrete through a vivid Granite Print. The collection traverses the boundaries of art.
