Ása Jóns is an Icelandic brand born in London, created by Karen Jons.
The work of Ása Jons is a reflection of Karen's diverse background and education, being from Iceland and having studied both in the US and the UK. Focusing on embroidery and print creating a clean style with an eclectic but very tasteful use of colour and attention to detail. Coming from a Fine Art background, first hand paintings and drawings are a great base to her work. Going on to study Surface Textiles at the London College of Fashion has given her a different understanding and appreciation for patterns and textures. Combined together this creates the effortless statement pieces that the Ása Jons brand now represents.
