launched in 2019, ARTESAN is a community-led designer brand collaborating with AFRICAN artisans and focused on transforming vintage cast-offs into luxury garments that challenge attitude and change minds. Designed in London, the brand uses New, vintage and DEAD-STOCK materials to create contemporary and everyday jackets.

The focus on well-crafted utilitarian clothing and environmentally conscious textile inspired by cultural hybridity offers unique collections of embellished pieces.

Recycled military surplus has always been a permanent feature of ARTESAN’s main collection, including army surplus that are reworked and updated with delicate embellishment in collaboration with talented Maasai women.
