ANTIATOMS began in 2005 as a multidisciplinary project. Its members Aránzazu Moreno, Alejandra Salvatore and Sofía Uquillas first met as Fashion Design students in the Istituto Europeo di Design in Madrid. They come from different backgrounds (Art Direction, Architecture and Fine Arts - Museography); these disciplines complement each other allowing them to have a strong all round vision. Above all else, ANTIATOMS believes in following a rigorous conceptual process to get to the final object or design. This is what gives meaning to their creations.

Their first step was a fashion collection based on language. This project was selected to create an installation for the first night of the Autumn/Winter season in DOSHABURI concept store in Barcelona.

ANTIATOMS have presented collections twice in the Showroom of El Ego de Cibeles (Madrid Fashion Week) and Changing Room where they were commissioned to customize the VANS classic shoe for an exhibition. Amongst other projects, they have designed an outfit for Madame Mo’s Madmoiselle Plüq doll, an event organized by Isolee Madrid in order to raise money for the Save the Children Fund.

They presented their collection “Picnolepsia” for Spring/Summer ’08 in September 2007 and were selected to show the collection ”0+1=a” in the catwalk of El Ego de Cibeles – Madrid Fashion week in February 2008.

Their latest projects include a collaboration with the artist Alicia Framis in her work “100 Ways to wear a Flag” which was exhibited in he Centre D’ Art Contemporain in Geneva, the costume design for the opera “Amahl and the night visitors” and the installation “Inousitde” for the exhibition “Centre and Periphery” both curated by Madrid City Hall.

Their work has appeared in B-Guided, VOGUE, Yo Dona, El Magazine of El Mundo news paper, DXI and several other publications.
