The Futuristic collection is inspired by architecture, in particular the work of Zaha Hadid and her futuristic approach to structures and buildings. Unusual forms were a particular inspiration. It takes a certain kind of courage to create things that are different and hitherto unheard of. Zaha not only created architectural designs, but by going in a futuristic direction that was not often seen in architecture at the time, her work, in addition to serving a utilitarian function, became art in itself against other buildings. Through muted colours and geometric, solid shapes, the garments are meant to refer to architectural structures. This is represented by deconstructing basic garment types and presenting them in an unusual, futuristic way.
