TAM ARA

The new, TAM ARA Spring Summer 2019 Collection, was inspired by our recent trip to Morocco. We were taken back by the pace of the city, it´s architecture, ornaments and the hidden beauty of the gardens and riads. The famous Jardin Majorelle gave birth to the idea of vibrant summer and we chose the beautiful royal blue color as the heart of the collection. The blue was complemented by subtle colors such as beige, lila, ivory or green. With summer in mind, we chose airy materials and worked with silk, linen and cotton. The cuts give freedom of movement and nicely flow around the body when it moves. As typical for our work, we played with asymetry, yet stayed minimalist as much as possible.

The whole collection is following the TAM ARA ethical standards. All fabrics and notions were sourced in Europe. The collection was designed and completely produced in Prague by local independent seamstresses that were paid a fair price.

You might hate or love hot summer days but you still miss and dream of them when they are far-gone. Imagine a summer afternoon, in faraway land, sitting on a terrace surrounded by majestic plants. The time slowly passes by and the evening in a vibrant city is ahead. This is the spring summer 2019 collection for us. Dive into that feeling and dare to be yourself.
