Daniela Corcio is an Italian fashion designer based in Florence, owner and founder of the brand IKONOSTAS.

In her younger years, soon after her studies of costumes and fashion designer at Polimoda and College of Liberal Art in Florence, she starts to work around the world doing experience as costume and concept designer for theatre and art performances.

From 1999 to 2013 she worked as Head of Sampling and Production for Vivienne Westwood, on behalf of an Italian fashion company, and she became Product Design Manager and Head of Atelier for the top brand of the English designer, counting, at the same time, beside collaborations with famous International brands such as Chloé, Proenza Schouler, Christian Lacroix.

In 2008, her personal project, focused on research and experimentation on corsets, attracted the attention of the press, and she was invited from Linea Intima to partecipate to a fashion show as one of the first design brands chosen among Europe’s most innovative lingerie.

In 2010 Daniela Corcio is among 8 of the best new designers of lingerie in the world by the International network dessous INTIMA.

In 2012, in occasion of London Design Week. she creates a collection of unisex clothing called 8ttagoni, an avant garde and contemporary concept of fashion. www.ottottagoni.com

Along with her projects, Daniela continues her creative path collaborating with International fashion companies as a consultant, she is well appreciated as a stylist and she teaches at the prestigious fashion school Polimoda.
