THORNHAMMAR

Founded by Hannes Steen Thornhammar in Stockholm, Sweden 2014. Hannes studied at Parsons School of Design in NYC 2005-09, where he graduated from the Business Administration program in Design Management. Having since worked internationally, Hannes specialises in design and content development. He has helped Design House Stockholm, Moderna Museét, NOWNESS, Mercedes Benz’s lifestyle magazine, mb!, and L’Oreal in crafting their design identities before launching his own brand.

The products are all crafted from one of the finest leathers in the world, at Tärnsjö Garveri north of Uppsala, Sweden. We invoke a classic minimal design that pays tribute to the raw, minimal aesthetic of the Scandinavian landscape. With the land in mind, we have endowed these models with the finest quality & construction possible, using top grain leather and suedes. This first collection conveys a feeling of Scandinavia to the rest of the world.
