IVAN PETTERSSON

Swedish-born artist Ivan Pettersson is the man behind seminal jewellery brand IVAN. His background in product and graphic design is highly evident in his latest collection, PRIMITIVES. Each piece has been crafted with focus on structure and surface, to create which Ivan has personally penned “Wearable Architecture”. Strongly influenced by Scandinavian design, primitives is the expression of Pettersson’s own beliefs and aesthetics that design needn’t be complex to be beautiful.

Ivan has been passionate about design since his childhood. In his early days he developed self taught skills within arts and crafts and was an early adopter of computer graphics. Pettersson refined his aesthetics and philosophic approach to design through several design schools in Sweden. IVAN is about: expressing his own beliefs and aesthetics and philosophy through a range of jewellery for men and women. For the first two years he has been extending his collection PRIMITIVES as well as designed accessories for fashion brands for the London Catwalk.
