Daniela Peskova

Daniela holds a master’s degree in Fashion and Footwear Design studio of Academy of Arts in Prague and bachelor’s degree in Tomas Bata University in Zlin. In between the studies she worked as an intern for avant-garde Belgian label AF Vandevorst. She has been nominated three times for the Fashion Designer of the Year award by the Czech Grand Design jury. Her Spring/Summer 2016 collection was selected among 3 top designers to watch in Czech Republic by the W magazine. Her collaboration with Filip Jakab has won Van Graaf Junior Talent 2016 award and together they presented Spring/Summer 2017 collection on Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week.

Daniela thinks of clothing as a final layer of a human being. For her, it's a huge part of our existence visible with a mere glance. “A garment, which is an inseparable part of our current shell and envelops it, is our self-reflexion, a mirror, a continuation as well as completion of ourselves,” she says about her relationship with clothes. Her aim is to understand who we are as an individual and built a strong wardrobe upon this knowledge.
