Masa Gracanic (creator and designer of a-mash) is a young aspiring designer hailing from Slovenia. She completed her Bachelor Degree in design at Accademia di Belle Arti Venezia, Italy 2007 and Diploma of Applied Fashion Design & Technology in Australian Institute of Creative design, Gold Coast 2010. During her time of study she gained vast experience in contemporary arts from performing (dance), to working in production roles such as costume, set design, styling, make up, directing and production manager. She remained creatively active by turning to other aspects of art and entered into numerous exhibitions and competitions in Slovenia, Italy and Australia.She exhibited in 52ndBiennale di Venezia in 2007 under the project “P3Performative Paper Project” and won some fashion awards in Italy and Australia.
