I make and design jewellery using silver and gold. I endevour to make sculptural pieces that appear different from opposing angles.
I have an interest in sculpture and create forms and shapes that produce shadow within the detail of a piece.
Grouping and placement of lines, curves and surfaces are important in my pieces to create an object that is pleasing to the eye.
I particularly enjoy working with silver. When highly polished it creates a reflective surface similar to a mirror. The chromatic colours, I find appealing.
I like my jewellery to evoke an image between the abstract and the natural.

Pollen Jewellery

Pollen is inspired by botanical shapes found in seeds, leaves, buds and berries. Even fruit and vegetables can provoke an idea.
Using precious metals predominantly silver and gold, the natural forms evolve into botanical shapes using materials chosen for their precious and permanent qualities.
Sweeping curves and elegant lines evoke an image between the natural and the abstract creating a luxurious feeling for the wearer to be admired in.
