Shimo Zhou and Une Yea established the brand ‘ Staffonly ’ after their graduation in 2015. A Staffonly man always has abundance of curiosity and a sense of humour, and he is willing to break the boundaries and to explore the unknown era of the world. The brand focuses on establishing collections based on sharp concept and innovational materials. A juxtapose with geeky and poetic atmosphere is what the designers are looking for: a new attitude and a revolution of traditional menswear.

Une Yea is a Chinese born designer who graduated from MA Accessory Design in Royal College of Arts. Her research interest lie generally in the area of creating provoking silhouettes and breaking boarders between fashion design and accessories design, combining sound and mechanics and adding in new concept and techniques. Her Design aesthetic offers an innovative interpretation of masculinity and femininity by harmonizing philosophy in depth and a sense of future imagination. Her collection “Are We Slaves of Objects Around Us?” shown as the finale collection on RCA graduation show, and also won the “Best Fashion Item” award from “ Who’s Next ” Prize in Paris.

Born and raised in the Shenzhen, Shimo Zhou grew up in the most dynamic and city in China.
She accomplished study of MA menswear design in London College of Fashion in 2015 and gained work experience in Alexander McQueen, Erdem and Tom Ford during her BA study period in LCF Womenswear since 2010. Her aesthetic offers an abstract metaphor of poetry and logic. The research interests of Shimo Zhou lie generally in the area of interpreting the beauty which hide from systematic and philosophical forms. Modernizing heritage constructing methodology into graphic ornament, and adding in passion of experimental textile and color palette.
