"Party or die" – is a slogan of the new OMELYA Pre-spring 2016 collection. In a new season designer was inspired by the club culture aesthetics, and particularly, by the legendary New York night club "Studio 54". Cult parties, atmosphere of fun and permissiveness, spirit of an era and bright characters – all of this affected mood and subject of the collection.
The basis of pre-spring16 edition is t-shirt-dresses with oversize cut, which were created using “Mix & Match” technique. Leopard pattern in beige and pink colouring is combined with bright inserts of yellow, blue, and orange. Such dynamic combinations put a moderate dose of attractiveness and grotesque to the images. The clothing range also includes thebell-bottomed pants with high waist, which are considered to be one of the iconic pieces of Disco era. The essential accent of the whole story is a print with ironic and provocative caption “Party or Die”, which reveals the entire message of the collection. The whole line is made up from easy and soft cotton, owing to which, the clothes became absolutely comfortable and cross functional in use.
