Mafalda Fonseca is a young Portuguese fashion designer based in Porto.
She graduated in Fashion Design in the year of 2012 at MODATEX, where she developed a passion for menswear. Attention to quality and details inspired her to do an internship in a tailoring atelier, Atelier des Crèateurs, to improve her knowledge about tailoring and menswear.
Tailoring, reinterpret classics and some details of sportswear inspire her work. Mafalda’s first capsule collection was presented in October 2012 at BLOOM - Portugal Fashion. Currently, she works in Petratex, a portuguese textile company, and presents at Portugal Fashion.
