LUISE AND FRANCK

"Vergissmeinnicht" is a poetic interpretation for the time passing by...

First inspired by a quotation by the enigmatic french novelist Charles Baudelaire (Spleen) :

"I have more memories than if i'd lived a thousand year (...)
I am an old boudoir full of withered roses,
Where lies a whole litter of old fashioned roses,
Where the plaintive pastels and the pale Bouchers,
Alone, breathe in the fragrance from a long-opened phial."

Meaning "do not forget me" in German, "Vergissmeinnicht" focuses on the effect of time on the human body. Intending to remind us the evolution of a human beiing from his birth to his death - as a new chapter in Luise&Franck's researches in this field - the collection explores a personal interpretation of the traces left by the time : wrinkles and patinas on garments and accessories.

It applies to a special shoes' capsule collection, launched this season, that focuses on two unique pairs, one for men and one for women, declined in different leather styles and hand-finished so as to give each of them their own soul...
