Born in Kent, Liora Lassalle has always moved around a lot, having lived in East Sussex, Brighton, Los Angeles, Canada, Devon and London. With an inherent passion for adventure Most of her inspiration comes from travelling and exploring different places and cultures.

Liora graduated in 2012 from Central Saint Martins with a 1st Degree Fashion and Print BA hons.

Environmental and social ethics have always been very important to her. Growing up mostly in the countryside she has a great appreciation for nature and beleives its important to work with nature rather than against it. Liora was also brought up learning how to make the most out of what she had, and through this she always saw uses for everything, nothing was rubbish everything had a value. Liora Lassalle likes to work ethically and sustainably using a mix of upcycling and natural/organic fibres (often hemp). She gets all her orders sewn up in a London studio to ensure fair trade, a good working environment and good quality.

After graduating Liora Lassalle won the Estethica/Resource competition, which gave her the chance to create an upcycled collection to showcase at Estethica in Somerset house during London Fashion Week. Her collection got lots of media interest online and articles in the Telegraph, and the NYT. She also gained an order from Yoox.com

Following on from the success of her upcycled A/W13 collection Liora Lassalle has kept up her wild, innovative image and quality finish in her new ‘Soft Fruit and Hard Lines’ collection for S/S 14.

Her new Capsule collection was unveiled at Estethica London Fashion Week on the 13th September 2013.
