Jo Disaya knew her calling was in fashion when she started sketching looks and show concepts at the age of 13. Jo's own quirky and rebellious attitude is portrayed in her designs for the label.
Inspired by provocative art and structures, her self-named pret-a-porter label infuses radicalism and rebellion in a strong yet subtle manner. The label focuses on defined silhouettes with attention to accessory detailing and fabrication.
The label draws inspiration from the concept of modern androgyny. The label is for the woman who seeks internal and external confidence and empowerment.

“The Lady Cadet”

A collection that draws inspiration from the military and 60s mod. An almost monochromatic collection with only one spot colour – red. Necklines are cut high to resemble the military inspiration. Jackets are cut to fit, shirt dresses come in structured and straight silhouettes while skirts revisit the pencil cut and given a higher waist. Accessory detailing comes in the form of chunky zippers and buttons. Patchwork finishing is seen across the collection, especially on wool blend looks.
“The Lady Cadet” is for the woman who seeks internal and external confidence and empowerment.
