The person behind the brand is a young, Polish designer Dominika Grzybek.
She is well-known for her cooperation with various artists
and her collections are featured in many magazines in Poland and abroad –
Elle, Glamour, InStyle, Vanity Teen, Vogue – just to mention a few.
She believes that fashion is the means of self-expression and her
heart beats for unique, never-boring designs.

EVERYTHING I HAVE FROM MY MOTHER

The women-wear collection “Everything i have from my mother” A/W/13/14 was created based on a deep analysis of my first childhood memories. Digging out the very first emotions, moments, that were connected to my childhood, through my mother.
Extreme attention was given to detail -
hand-sewn jacquard, mechanically-embroidered jacquard thickened seams and hologram threads.
As a closing element in the collection, a pseudo-backpack motive was used, using sewn-in straps, a motive which purpose is to symbolise the invisible weight carried by each of us.
Few of the very first memories i have from the period are the first soup my mom made, touching nettle for the very first time, my first trip to the forest, and much more day-to-day impressions – smells, sounds, tastes that i associate with my childhood. I was trying to look for the things that seemed to characterise and relate to the surroundings i saw around me as a little girl in Poland – group hiking in a fiat 126p, block apartments, and the huge empty spaces, waiting to be filled.
It is a very intimate and personal journey which resulted in reaching the most primitive of my memories. All those impressions were translated in a very personal, subjective way to be applied into fashion.
