Cherish Brouwer graduated in 2013 at the Institute of the Arts in Arnhem (ArtEZ).
During the graduration show she presented her womanswear collection named 'Discordia'. This collection is based upon a research of the connection between two worlds rich in contrast, namely order and disorder. Combining a variety of materials, mixing them together, whereby she translated her own structured chaos.
- Elusiveness -
Collecting unidentified pieces of the future, using my six senses, creating an unknown surrounding with a new view on texture, shape, materials and color.
Perfection in detail, innovation, versatility, functionality and the aim of mixing structures and materials in the ideal way, is what I aspire to while using my intuition.
Altogether, this leads to my elusive world, to which I give my own translation to and is needed to embody my state of mind.
