ALYSON JON LIFE

I am a designer, artist and teacher. I want to inspire others to explore their own creative selves. Alyson Jon Life is my way of giving back to the world. Through my brand, I create custom surface/ textile/ CAD for designers. I also provide linesheet creation, presentation and branding services for designers. I work in mediums such as Adobe CC, hand embroidery, quilting and other fabric manipulation. I also create handmade jewelry using surface techniques and semi precious stones.
My career started over ten years ago in the fashion industry working with a variety of companies which include wholesale, vertical retailers, and private label vendors. I admit, I worked in mass market where the bulk of the jobs are in the US (especially after 2008). For those companies, I created outerwear, wovens, knits, sweaters and CAD. Through the years, I mainly focused on women's and girls categories but I also worked with men's and boys categories.What I created in those jobs are not a testament to my personal style but it is a testament of my understanding of any customer outside of myself. That is what I believe I bring to the table as a designer in today's market. I listen to customers and my fellow designers.
