The departure point for this collection is Bricolage. Inspired by the method of which the Bricoleur works, the main focus has been to create pieces from a diverse range of things that happened to be available during the process. This has led to the use of a great deal of upcycle materials in the collection, for example Second Hand fabrics such as tablecloth and rubbery anti-slide mats.
The visual koncept is based on a fushion of several elements, ranging from local Kenyan children, Japanese street wear, architectural structures, to the notion of the Aesthetics of ugliness.
The silhuettes emerges from the special method called 'Paper Blotting' - an intuitive approach of paperfolding from which mening is derived and translated into clothing items, creating af final look of oversized avant garde-ish street wear, characterized by a clash of organic and soft geometric fabric structures.
