Followed by the paparazzi since a very young age, with a high pressure rules and tradition from their family, pushing them to have two different sides of personality, the one they show in public eyes, and the one they show only around people that they trust. The secret high society party already become an urban legend all around Europe, where the young Aristocrats act like and party with the rock stars, presenting the world their true side for a few hours to let loose, balancing their responsibility and mental health at the edge of reality. They are the in between, floating in both worlds, trying to exist in both realms, and holding both identity that cannot be separated.

For the debut collection, Xalvar presents ‘The In-Between’, a Spring Summer 2018 collection that inspired by the young blue blood of Europe. Balancing a lifestyle of professionalism and leisure at its finest, consist of tailoring pieces with urban and young design, Xalvar focused on the practical side of an attire, allows its wearer to adapt easily from between the business meeting and high noon tea time with their clique. Made with exquisite yet comfortable fabric for both daily and evening attires. Using Tweed fabric, inspired by the Parisian chic style, Xalvar designed the material in an urban way with a touch of Synthetic Leather to escape from the conservative paradigm of the fabric. Duchess material used as shorts that shaped to look like a skirt, playing with imagination and experimental idea of the luxurious fabric that usually used for a couture dress material. Xalvar is also combining denim with tweed material to create a balance between the young free spirit and regency elegance, inspired by the duality of the modern generation aristocrat. ‘The In-Between’ really is a collection of balance between two aspects of design. A debut collection for them who lives two different aspects of life.
