I'm born and grew up in Zhongshan city, south China. After the two years BA Textile Design course at Xi'an Academy of Fine Art, I came to Central St Martins to complete a bachelor's degree in textile design, and a master textile design course at Chelsea college of arts the following year.

I am particularly interested in natural dying and material transformation in design. My design activism is about food waste and natural source recycling in print& dye textile and mix media material, also, to work in a slow textile process and guide people to think about and choose sustainable textile and design.
I like the combination of different textile processes, from the ancient hand craft to the modern technology. Most of those processes come from the tradition; I believe that we should look at the past to know the future.
