Dyllan Khawam has always been interested in fashion, music, video, digital and print media. His hometown of Zürich, Switzerland greatly influenced his style, aesthetic, and attention to detail and defined his interest in luxury fashion. He studied graphic design and his work was showcased in Behance Graphic Design and Student Showcase. In 2013, Khawam began designing graphics and screen-prints for a Los Angeles-based streetwear brand featured in Complex, Hypebeast and Highsnobiety.
His graduate collection is a gender inclusive lineup called Varient, which includes reinterpretations of traditional garments inspired by the British punk scene. Khawam’s fashion heroes are Virgin Abloh and Heron Preston, whom he admires for “designing for both culture and individuality.”
