Strange

A graduate of the renowned Edinburgh College of Art where I spent 4 years honing my patterncutting and design skills. More recently I have been a designer in residence at Process Studios, during which I created a new 12 piece womenswear collection inspired by femininity in fashion and the poet, Mina Loy.
I created various digital textile prints on both silk and cotton based on a combination of hand drawings, painting and my own photography.

In my graduating year of 2014, I was selected to show at Graduate Fashion Week, London, with my collection receiving positive reviews from magazines such as Avenir, BeExposed and Young British Designers, as well as work featured in The Times, Scotsman and Metro.
I was also selected as a finalist for the 2014 F.A.D. Fashion Futures award, in which I exhibited a mini collection as part of the Vauxhall Fashion Scout at London Fashion Week in February. I was one of 16 finalists from across the UK..
