SOÜF is an ethically crafted accessories label defined by the twin poles of contemporary design and heritage. Reclaimed, century-old wood sourced from pillars that once upheld colonial Salvadoran homes coalesce with brushed metals and semi-precious Brazilian stones in modern, geometric handbags that serve as a conduit to the past.
Informed by founder and creative director Sofia Avila’s childhood in El Salvador and travels to Europe and beyond, the collection expresses a grounded, yet worldly notion of elegance.

Each piece in our collection is handmade with care and consideration by artisans located across El Salvador.
Our century old, reclaimed by cedar wood handbags are made from columns, pillars, & foundations that were once a part of colonial homes in El Salvador. The history carried between the wood’s grain, along with its exquisite craftsmanship give each of our wooden pieces a distinct personality you are sure to love.
