Selina Rottmann

Selina Rottmann graduated 2015 with a BA in Fashion from the University of Arts and Design Linz / Vienna under the artistic guidance of Ute Ploier. She has been awarded with the 'most interesting Achievement' Award for her final degree collection in 2014. In 2015 she was also nominated for the Austrian Fashion Award.

The existence and perception of the `ideal being`, forms the basic theme of her collections. On the one hand this is analyzed in reference to her very own value system and on the other hand in reference to the society. One of the defining characteristics of her collections lies in the particular interest, reshaping typical details of men ́s clothing as well as the reinterpretation of original classy patterns.
