SAMME

As the daughter of a graphic designer Samme spent time as a child being taught to appreciate all aspects of design, from type to architecture leading her work to have a strong graphic undertone . As a young creative she was dedicated throughout her education becoming the recipient of financial bursaries and one of only five in the United Kingdom to receive full marks from examining body AQA for Graphic Design. With this she gained an unconditional offer to further study Fashion Design at the University of Central Lancashire.

As an undergraduate she showed great enthusiasm that lead to her work being showcased in both the UK and China.
Short-listed to the George Childrenswear final at London Graduate fashion week 2011. Returning to the catwalk of London Graduate fashion week in 2012 to showcase her Final collection. Samme was also selected to represent the University in Shangahi aswell as on BBC radio. Finally being featured in the ‘Complete Fashion Sketchbook’ an Anova Book by the prestigious fashion author Martin Dawber with her colour and conceptual research.

Samme is now living in East London and pursuing a career in the fashion industry.
