S-H-E-N (Shared Human & Earth Narratives) is an art movement. We journal what is, was, and could be. These stories are personal, political, or cultural and have an emotional connection to everyone.
In 2020, S-H-E-N was founded by Max Shen at the age of 17, in a small studio in the Hollywood Hills. Max has been into fashion since he was a quiet middle school student, thereafter using it as a way to express his inner self. He studied fashion design at Parsons Paris and graduated from Hollywood High School. Max's designs are inspired by his major, art history.
S-H-E-N is dedicated to art, craftsmanship, and story, experimenting with sustainable and hand-crafted techniques to create heirloom pieces, ethically produced in the US, Italy, and, UK. S-H-E-N makes all clothing to order, embodying slow fashion in both the creation process and timeless statement pieces.
