Rose Sharifi

I graduated with a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering. I learned fashion design through dress patterns and online media. I have hand-made all my dresses and I have shown them in few fashion shows including NY Couture Fashion Week 2017. My ultimate goal is to create unique artistic gowns. In my future designs I would also like to use my engineering background combined with my love for feminine classical designs and create a novel combination that comes out both feminine soft and surprisingly engineered.
Right now I am working full time as a scientist in Knoxville, TN which is not at all a good place to grow as a fashion designer. I need help to get connected to the fashion world and show my designs to a larger audience. My carrier goal for the next 3 years is to be able to reduce my working hours to half and travel the other half to the places to show-case and sell my designs. my website is www.rosesharifi.com .
