Queenie Chan is a Hong Kong-born, London-based knitwear designer and Central Saint Martin's graduate with a minimalist yet contemporary approach to creating fine knitwear and hand illustrated work. In her final year at university, she has created a sophisticated and detail-oriented collection with sumptuous silhouette and striking textures - largely inspired by Robert Morris's conceptual felt sculptures, which has been exclusively showcased at the CSM Press Show.
Having spent a few summers working with the teams at Dior and John Galliano in Paris, Alexander McQueen and Lucas Nascimento in London, she takes pride in the distinctive aesthetics and attention to detail and functionality of her pieces; as well as the magnitude of professionalism shown in her approach to the process of garment design - from ideation to sketching, knitting to finishing.
