I come from a small town called Shetou in the countryside of Taiwan, where my parents own and operate a small towel factory.
As a child I would watch, play and help in the factory and I believe this where my fascination with design began.
I once designed a “Frog” for a new towel design and it was so popular we had to make a second order; thus sparking a new flame in my mind.
Looking for new skills and ways to express myself, I enrolled in the Fashion Design School at Shih Chien University and I have never looked back!
I am now a graduate student majoring in Fashion Design and looking forward to a bright future ahead.
I put a lot of effort into my graduate collection and tried skills that were new to me, such as Machine-Knitting and Felting.
Experimenting with new techniques is where I think real design happens, figuring out how to make things work and creating surprising results.
I will never stop learning, creating and trying new and different things.
