Playful and meaningful designs are the core ideas behind our upcycling. Our main focus in the designs we offer are also health, environment and social development.
We produce clothes healthy for kids, healthy for the environment and healthy for the people producing the clothes. It is the only way it makes sense to us. And thats why we started Plyssky in january 2015.

This is because we use second hand materials and are employing people with a social issue or a health issue. The second hand materials are used and washed many times. The chemical are washed out and the clothes are healthy for the kids. At the same time the second hand materials are saving the environment for the production of new materials. We buy the second hand materials from a danish social organization - simply saving them from being dumped as trash. The prints, repair and sewing is done by great people struggling with either a sickness or a social issue that makes it difficult for them to get an ordinary job. Working with Plyssky and upcycling gives them a meaningful job on their own terms.
