Pallavi Yadav

Pallavi Yadav is a graduate from Pearl Academy of Fashion, India with her design focus on sustainable design and upcycling. Curious about the myriad processes of the fashion industry she worked closely with a sustainable brand in Auroville, India and then in a brand in New Delhi. She, later on, spent a summer studying Sustainable Fashion and Practices in Central Saint Martins, London. Her collection "Afterlife" revolves around preloved uniforms reconstructed into womenswear by methods of upcycling and zero waste design. With materials sourced ethically from India, transparency in design and business is her core. She was recently chosen to be a part of The Youth Fashion Summit and the Copenhagen Fashion Summit to develop and work on sustainable strategies under the UNDP.
