Collection No 5 is inspired by the careless and free style of the beat generation. For Spring-Summer 2013, creative director Natasha Thomas has collaborated with British artist and designer Jonathan Haydock to imagine a summery assemblage of casually sophisticated pieces. Influenced by modernist design and architecture, American craft and colors drawn from artist David Hockney's work from the 1970's, this new collection is an exploration of artistic references through fashion design. Collection no 5's prints and monochromatic fabrics are inspired by Hockney's fauvist palette. Photographer and painter inspired by counter-culture and the American Southwest, Hockney is also celebrated for his pop work.
