John Pritchard is the creator and founder of Pala, an innovative and philanthropic eyewear brand with a social cause at its heart. 10% of the world's population are unable to access eyecare, yet empowering a person with something as simple as a pair of spectacles can provide them a huge opportunity in life. Whether through education and the ability to see the page they are reading, or allowing them to work in industries where poor eyesight is either a barrier, or simply dangerous.

Pala works with the charity Vision Aid Overseas to unite the sale of their eyewear to the giving of a pair of spectacles through direct grants into their outreach projects in Africa. Pala also works with weaving communities in Upper East Ghana that make their unique cases from recycled plastic bags and waste.

However, aesthetics is equally as important as the ethics behind the brand. John works with a team of designers in London to help curate Pala's eyewear collections, working with custom acetates and a mixture of classic and progressive frame shapes, to appeal across a broad spectrum of personal styles. Pala is about looking good and feeling good. Wear. Love. Give.
