Jasmine Accardi

Jasmine Lakshmipathi Accardi, Fashion design student at Polimoda, Florence.
Born in Rome I started my fashion design course, with the aim to match fashion with contemporary art, a conceptual aesthetic together with emotions and visual suggestions.
The Studio of Carla Accardi was the place where I was trained, sourrended by many contemporary italian artists, that allowed me to analyze the diversity and plurality of forms , as well as three-dimensionality and spatialism; including these elements in my collections, I create silhouttes with geometric volumes. I am fascinated by a contemporary vision in the research of materials and colors, investigating the endless use of tones, challenging new chromatic combinations. I had the chance to know many different realities and traditions, as I used travel a lot. Due to my indian origins, I found in this country the greatest inspiration for my research, a colorfull land where the fabrics are composed in fancy draperies. You can find all of this in my collections, where modern materials contextualize the entire design, melting tradition with contemporary and abstract.
