Vanesa Lara

Vanesa Lara is an emerging Designer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She Co-founded Umbral, an emerging design brand based also in Buenos Aires. “Estratos” – spanish for strata – is the name of Umbral’s graduate collection, which explores the beauty of nature through geology, and the subtlety of the layering through the combination of different fabrics as to refer to the mineral condition and the landscapes of Patagonia, so as to enhance the natural of this argentinian patrimony. We use materials such as the Patagonia Merino Wool , valuing the Natural, National Fiber and the local production through experimental textures and handmade finishings.
