The special occasion wear brand was founded by three women of three different generations based in Hong Kong and Mumbai. JODHA was born out of the desire to create thoughtful, hand-crafted pieces for the modern woman; pieces that evoke lasting first impressions; pieces that are easy to wear; pieces that truly speak for themselves. 

Combined, the team has decades of experience in the luxury retail sectors with education from leading entrepreneurship and fashion schools, Babson College and Istituto Marangoni London. At the core of the brand is a deep appreciation for celebrations and dressing for them, JODHA caters to occasions rather than the mainstream fashion season. JODHA takes inspiration and pays homage to the eponymous legendary 16th century Rajput princess, Jodha Akbar. We wanted our brand to convey the facets of her beauty, regal bearing, richness and exuberance that period in history implies. Those attributes along with the fusion of West and East, inform the aesthetic of the collection.
