Anastasia Selivanova is a 22-year old Russian born womenswear designer, a 2017 BA graduate from London College of Fashion. As a designer who appreciates subtle and timeless aesthetic, her work combines simplicity, sophistication and spontaneity. With the combination of monochrome colours and tailoring aspects, Anastasia is recreating classics with a modern twist and conceptual approach.

UNDERCOVER.

I was interested in how coverage of objects change their appearance and help us see them in a different way, referencing the work of J. Beuys and Christo and Jeanne-Claude. I looked at objects from everyday life and pieces of furniture that are always covered with clothes that we are too lazy to put into the closet when we come home. So, the collection is based on the idea of creating outfits for furniture fit, which allowed me to get some interesting, quite unusual features in the typical office wear clothes in the process of development.
