Queenie Cao

Queenie Cao is a womenswear and Jewelry brand based in New York.

The founder and designer Queenie-Qinghe Cao was born in China, she did her BA fashion in China Central Academy of Fine Arts. In the final year Queenie transferred to Glasgow School of Art, which in Scotland, also Fashion. After that, she came to Parsons MFA Fashion Design and Society to study her Master degree and graduate in 2017

During school, she did interns in Jeremy Scott, Oscar De La Renta, Thom Browne.

Queenie Cao always has a passion for using story and movies as imaginative tools to cross the boundaries of reality and float into a fantasy world. She likes to find unrelated or impossible things to make possible and balance in her way, fake and surreal, romantic and gothic, beautiful and horror, something twisted inside but interesting. She hopes that when people see her designs, they will feel beauty and happiness, but also apprehension, which Cao describes as “ the feeling when you are jumping into Wonderland”.

QUEENIE CAO JEWELRY was founded by designer Queenie Cao and business partner Runxi Wang in New York City. 2017. Queenie Cao Jewelry pushes the unique space between fine and fashion jewelry. Joyfully designed and hand crafted of sterling silver, each piece embodies innocence, purity and elegance.

QUEENIE CAO works with a lot magazines like Vogue, Vogue Italy, Nylon, Nylon Japan, Cosmo, King Kong, Schon, Magazine Document Journal,etc and celebrities, Clients included Miley Cyrus, CL, Cardi B, Kesha, Janelle Monae, POPPY, Kimbra, etc.
