Röyksopp Gakkai

röyksopp gakkai 蘑菇學會, was established in Hong Kong during 2014. “röyksopp” stands for a kind of mushroom in Norsk, while “gakkai” means school club in Japanese.
Brand design concept is to show the stage of a teenage girl transforming into an adult. Based on European kids wear from 18th-19th century, with a soft touch of Minimalism and Weird-Cuteness (グロカワ), these create designs of röyksopp gakkai.
From the first season, röyksopp gakkai has always been gaining interest not only from Asia but Europe. Fashionistas, celebrities and bloggers like Lady Gaga and Wawa Wei, have worn our pieces to attend event. Over the past collections, we had stockists over Paris, Spain, Seoul, Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Brun Chan, founder of röyksopp gakkai, was graduated from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, specializing Knitwear design with Technology.
As she believes fashion is just one of the medias to present art and idea, she is interested in using various ways to express her attitude towards aesthetics. Thus, not only focusing on fashion design, she also work as stylist, art director and set designer. She had worked with fujifilm, Shu Uemura, Mnet, Airbnb, Zuji and different parties. She also styled for ep covers and MV of local artists.
