design concept :

garments are 2D. you will find side seams on all of your jackets and your dresses - they are there to cut your body in half, the front and the back. on the other hand, a bag is truly 3 dimensional, a sculpture if you will. a different view is discovered on all 360 angles. that is the approach that inspires me. some might call it architectural; i just really focus on how the bag is build from the ground up. material is first; form follows function. following this line of thinking, the interior of the bag will be just as important, if not more, as the outside.
