Unique Fish Leather
Treating skins of perch, salmon or cod to create elegant leather with a uniquely individual character seems an almost unimaginable idea.
It is long forgotten that fish leather was widely used in Northern Europe over 5000 years ago. Only recently rediscovered, it surpasses most other organic materials in terms of both durability and appearance.
All the skins vary in size and tone and require individual treatment. It is this highly personalised process of creation that makes each finished object one
of a kind.

A Long Lifespan
Although salmon leather is thin and may look fragile it has a much higher durability than other leathers. This makes it the ideal material for leather goods that are used extensively. All edges are painted three times with natural rubber, a time-consuming and delicate work step made by hand to protect the leather for years to come.
The interior is made of purely vegetable- tanned English calf leather commonly used for horse gear and therefore practically indestructible.
