Cafuné

Queenie is the Creative Director of Cafuné, she is responsible for design, development and all creative visions of the brand. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Queenie moved to the US at the age of 17 to pursue her goal to become a designer. In 2011, she graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with a Bachelor degree of Fine Arts, majoring in Industrial Design.
Since a young age, Queenie has a great passion in fashion, and with her strong industrial design background, she decided to become an accessories designer. She spent 4 years in New York working for various renowned fashion brands including 3.1 Phillip Lim, Coach and Rag & Bone as a handbag designer.
Queenie’s design philosophy is all about connections and balance - the connection between the wearers’ experiences and the functionality of a handbag; the balance between a timeless shape and playful details. These are all taken into account in the making of a perfect Cafuné bag.
