VACATION DAYS

Established in 2012 by Hamish Robertson, VACATION DAYS is a creative studio and brand producing artwork, wearable multiples, and printed matter.

Hamish Robertson is an artist, designer, and photographer based in Los Angeles, California. A graduate of Fine Art from Edinburgh College of Art in Scotland, Hamish’s work utilized photography, film, text, and drawing, with a focus on memory, chance, and authorship. Upon graduation, Hamish moved to New York City and worked as an art director in publishing with spells as an editor at GQ and Vanity Fair magazines, exhibited personal work at Artists Space and KK Outlet, and published and edited his arts journal, Afterzine.

Since moving to Los Angeles in 2012 he has resumed his artistic studies, exploring themes from nature and texture to perception and geometry.
