HEW delivers a modern sensibility and an innovative take on the male wardrobe, marking a new chapter for menswear.

After a year in Los Angeles, designer and founder Ema Hewitt crossed the Pacific to return home to Melbourne and establish HEW in 2014.
Inspired by her travels, her training in fashion and a love of colour, Ema turned to menswear to bring a fresh approach to men’s clothing archetypes.

A focus on quality, material and fit underpins each season – but print and colour is what marks HEW out. Working with the classics of the male wardrobe, HEW collaborates each season on prints and textiles exclusive to the label. The silhouette refined, even understated, is coloured by the innovative prints that define the HEW aesthetic. Collaborating with a curated selection of graphic and textile designers from Melbourne’s creative scene, brings input from local talent and marks a point of difference for the brand.

HEW is about quality, modernity and the unlikely marriage of subtle hues with bold and playful pattern. In other words, clothes for work, play and Californian Dreaming.
