MARIEKEN MEEUWSSEN

My name is Marieken. All my life I have lived in Belgium. For a little while I explored work and life in Holland, but recently I started a new adventure in London; a very fascinating city where I want to explore and spread my ideas & work, together with interesting & stimulating people!

During my master studies in architecture, my jewelry education and during past work experiences, I learned to appreciate the beauty of designing and explored my creative mind trough the development of concepts, form-finding and computational techniques. My field of interests started to specify itself especially on smaller scale projects, material research and experimentation with different styles, conditions and techniques such as objects and jewelry. Being able to focus on the whole process from the first line to the finishing stage gives me great satisfaction. The interaction between concept and object is my ideal working area. On this very moment I am developing my own style and try to find my place in the fascinating world of jewelry and design.
